Wet suits
Hello, Thank you all very much for your very helpful comments on this board in response to my questions. As to wetsuits, I would like to ask the following: 1. For a late February trip, are wetsuits essential or will the water temperature be warm enough to make them unnecessary?
2. If wetsuits are important to have, can we rely on the on-board wetsuits to be available and be a fit or should we bringing our own?

The Galapagos islands are at the equator but have an unusual confluence of cold/warm currents. So the waters vary depending on which areas you visit. It really does not matter what time of year you visit. Some parts of the year the waters can be more choppy. There was an ample supply of wet suits when we went. They were short style ones.
Don’t forget that Tauck only allows one medium sized suitcase, so a wet suit would take up a lot of room. It tends to be humid, so I would prioritize bringing clothing as there are no laundry facilities on the Isabela II.. The first time we went, I think. I recall Tauck provided duffles, that was a long time ago and I don’t think they do that now.
I agree with British. We did use the wet suits provided when we went. There were plenty of them and you only use them for one or two times and not for long periods.
