Just for fun….
Tour a house boat, walk the Nine Little Streets, view the Lord in the Attic chapel, rent a bike and take a ride outside the city, eat local food (herring, snert), choose a side street and get lost, strike up a conversation with a local. The possibilities are endless.
I'll be taking that cruise in August , and with my 1 free day beforehand will take a canal cruise, tour the Anne Frank house, and visit the Rijksmuseum.
Be sure to book the Anne Frank house as soon as ticketing opens or you will be out of luck. I’m guessing the same with the museum too especially in August.

Try Amsterdam boat adventure for a smaller boat that can go on the smaller canals. Try a evening cruise when the lights are coming on
