French Escapade: Paris to the Riviera
I will be traveling on this River Cruise October 2026. Does anyone know if the boat is docked over night at any of the ports. I would be interested in making dinner reservations off the boats at local restaurants.

They usually travel at night so you are in the next port for excursions the next morning. There used to be a way to look at the map and tell if they overnighted - a different symbol for those ports.
From reading the itinerary it doesn't look like there is an opportunity. As Jane said, evening is when the ship moves on to the next port. We've never felt the need to as the meals in the compass dining room are excellent and we've already paid for them. Day 2 in Paris and day 12 in Monte Carlo you'll have the opportunity to find your own dinner. And there are some lunches on your own. Occasionally when it lists lunch is provided by Tauck they actually give you money to find your own.
