Luqa, Malta airport
We are flying from Newark to Frankfurt to MLA (Luqa,Malta) If I correctly understand the process, we will do the EES upon arrival in Frankfurt. According to the MLA website, since we are arriving from a Schengen country, we do not have to go through Passport Control and can go directly to baggage claim. Upon collecting our bags, we proceed to Customs and go through the Green Channel since we have nothing to declare.
Has anyone done that recently and it is the actual process? Thanks in advance for any help.

Mike - Thanks for the link to your blog post on this trip. I'm heading to Malta and Sicily later this month (not Tauck). Your pics and info are great. Don't expect to find any snow on Etna this time of year. And re Malta, if you haven't seen it, you may want to watch the Pan Am 103 story on Netflix. A significant part of the investigation took place on Malta.
