Thank you for input. In my years of travel, I've had a variety of carry on. Recently we switched to rolling luggage as we wanted to have 1. enough with us to get us through a few days in case of lost luggage 2.backpacks that we used to use got cumbersome hanging out at airports during layovers multiple hours. Our trip to Australia has 2 layovers of 3+ hours apiece. We've had our luggage lost. When our luggage was lost, it was a trip to Africa and our carryon was backpacks. It's sounding like luggage is getting lost more frequently now...but we'll figure it out. The dimensions I was quoted seemed quite small...maybe I misheard? We'll figure it out, but I appreciate the input.
