Today I noticed my flight to Amsterdam in September is cancelled. I called Tauck and was told my river cruise has also been cancelled. They said they would refund my deposit but keep my $1250 insurance as a “credit.” The reason we purchase expensive insurance is to avoid loss. I did not cancel the flight or trip. I believe it is inappropriate to withhold funds for ransom. Do I have any recourse? Jim
