Hi! I’ll be on the Andorinha in October. Does anyone have any feedback on the Upper Douro Quinta Tour and Tasting? I’d love to join that excursion, but I’m wondering about the walking with arthritic knees. I walk 3 miles on the streets at home daily.
Has anyone had luck with facilities near the ship which will hold luggage? Disembarkation is likely around 8:30-9:00 am and we have a flight home after 6:00 pm. Tauck indicates that neither the ship nor its post-cruise hotel will hold luggage.
Has anyone taken the ‘bicycle excursion’ on this cruise? Wondering how strenuous it is. Thank you for your comments!

Having been on a Danube sailing through Tauck, we had a couple of formal palace dinners, etc. Does the Douro River Villages and Vintages tour have any "formal" or dress requirements aside from dress casual?
Greetings. We're veteran Tauck tourists, but on the tour beginning August 3, this will be our first river cruise in any form. Is anyone else on here taking that tour? Any tips from those of you who've done it, or who've enjoyed time in Porto?
Not sure whether Livraria Lello, the Porto bookshop that inspired JK Rowling, has been mentioned here. I missed it last trip; it's not quite in the center of town. It's so famous that you now pay 5€ to visit, which I think can be applied to a purchase. (A theater-turned-bookstore in Buenos Aires imo also makes the top 10.)…
Any word on cancelling any of the river cruise/tours for Spain /Portugal considering the health situation there?
We'll be on the Northern Spain trip beginning on 7 May and then the Douro River beginning on 22 May. What will the weather be like and what type clothing should we bring?
