Cruising ban is ending

The CDC has announced that the cruising ban will end tomorrow ... with ‘conditions’ ... forty pages of conditions, and test voyages. We probably will not seeing cruising actually resume out of U.S. ports very soon, but cruising out of foreign ports might resume more quickly. I expect to see the Caribbean open up fairly soon.

    Nobody in their right mind, unless they've already had Covid, would go on a cruise any time in the near future.

    The news I read said that cruise ships could comeback into US territory but NOT with passengers

    I didn’t read your article but this is what I see.

    The CDC says the initial phases are for crew only, which is “to ensure adequate safety and health protocols through a series of mock voyages with volunteers who will play the role of passengers,” said Martin Cetron, the CDC director for the division of global migration and quarantine. The CDC does not have a timeline for a return for passengers, Cetron said.
