Need wardrobe tips
Hi all, my husband and I will be going on the Danube River cruise in late September. Expecting the temperatures to be in the high 60s. Does anyone have any tips for wardrobe choices for the walking tours? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rebecca.

Definitely look at the weather to see what it will really be. I was in this part of the world a couple of years ago at the same time as you. We also did a sightseeing nighttime cruise on the Danube in Budapest. It is definitely colder on the water.
My list for sightseeing: Layers. Patagonia nano puff, scarf/pashmina jeans/pants/skirt, Patagonia capilene top, merino crew neck sweater. Hat, sunglasses. Great walking shoes. If rain and or wind is in forecast: gortex coat/shell to go over the nano puff. It can be very windy and I find goretex breathes, wind and water resistant. I love Patagonia for its weights, quality and wicking abilities.
Wow,I don’t even wear such clothing here in the North east. Do be prepared for warm weather too, but of course layering options are important. Hoping the river level has improved by then.
