Why is Passport Info Required for US trip?
Booked a 2027 Tauck tour Salt Lake City to Denver that is completely within the US. We are purchasing flights on our own and have the newer compliant driver's licenses. Why does my account say Tauck requires all of our passport info to be provided for this tour? Do we really need to bring our passports for a domestic trip?

Well the website account information has had some issues since the new website was launched last week so it could be that. It lost all my emergency contact info and at one point merged our info with a friends. No I can't reach any of the Financial data for 3 different reservations. I'm just giving them time to correct things.
My guess is the form is generic and used for all trips. I've never brought my passport for any domestic travel.
It is most likely generic which happens for a lot of their information. If your tour includes staying on a ship then it might be different
Bythebeach, we are also booked for the same trip next year. I was told that we only needed real ID for the trip.
