What do you mean by soon? From May onward it will be getting hot.You can google the ten day forecast before you go or annual monthly AVERAGES.
If you'll be in Northern Spain - that climate is very different than in the Southern part of the country.
May is an ideal time to travel to the Iberian Peninsula. Layering is the best advice I can offer since the temperature will vary depending on the region—cooler in the north, warmer in the south. Rainfall is usually minimal that time of year but taking a very light rain jacket will also suffice as your outerwear.
We are going the end of April/begiining of May. Temps in Lisbon and Madrid are cooler than Andulacia.. Meaning - expect 60-70s to 70-80s. Bringing layers. Since we are from chilly New England, that is heaven! We are bringing Capris (her), Shorts (him), long and short sleeve shirts, sweaters and some simple dressy things for the evenings given the quality of the hotels. Things are cheap in those countries so you can always supplement.
