I think it’s best to dress conservatively for India or you will attract too much male attention, especially in crowded cities. I wore loose capris and long sleeve loose T shirts.or blouses in the cities. I took the Spotlight tour which is similar to the first part of your tour. For safaris, you Migjt want ot think about… -

This was needed because no electronics or batteries could be in the checked luggage. They are VERY strict about this. Some folks had a small wheelie--but it must be very small to fit in the overhead bins - which are smaller than any I have seen. One person… -

Our trip to North India and Nepal was Mar, 2023. Along with my Tom Bihn Co-Pilot, I took a Travelpro Maxlite Carry-on Rolling Underseat Bag for my DSLR camera and lens. I had no issues fitting it in the overhead bins and did not have to gate check it. -

As British mentioned, even though it may be warm during safari - you should consider long pants/shirts to protect against insects. It was very cool during the morning safari… -
