They did have one before Covid but it had a lot of issues and they gave up on it during lockdown. There was some talk a few years ago about improving and trying to use it again but I think they've given up on it.
Before resurrecting the app, Tauck needs to upgrade bus service to include wifi, as so many other companies have done. When in Europe or Asia, North America is asleep, so I find no need to stay connected 24/7. Unless it's a free day and I want the availability of google maps, I see no need to pay for international service.
Last year, we took a tour with another company and the Tour Director had some sort of ‘Mobile’ WiFi device which he could ‘plugin ‘ on the bus or take it to other locations like when we were in a small restaurant up in the mountains. We had never heard of such a thing, but it worked great.

Think they gave up because it would require too much continuous input from the Tour Director. Maybe WhatsApp has taken over for use on the actual tour
