My husband and I are participating in Tauck's Northern India & Nepal trip on Jan 29, 2017. We're from Pennsylvania and are wondering where others are traveling from. This is our first Tauck trip and we are really looking forward to it. For me, the most difficult part is deciding what clothing to pack! Carol & Dwight
Tauck has just notified travelers holding reservations for the autumn 2015 embarkations that the hotel which they have used in Nepal has been ruled "safe" to inhabit. Flight-seeing around Mount Everest will continue. Sightseeing in Kathmandu and surrounding valleys goes forward with safety being foremost in priority. Nepal…
My husband and I are on this Nov 6th trip. We are John & Linda from southern Delaware (Rehoboth Beach area). Hoping to find the others in this small group who might be on this forum.

Portrait of India is more urban. Northern India and Nepal has more adventure aspects - game drives, flightseeing. I don’t think you can make a bad choice.
Part 2-- This entire trip was wonderful. There was a very slight change in the Delhi itinerary from the Portrait tour – but nothing anyone would miss. The only thing noticeably missing was the street conditions. They were much better. India was (almost) clean. This was in part due to the massive clean-up they conducted to…
My husband and I took this amazing trip in early February 2015. Our 19 fellow travelers made for a great group and in our final round up, we shared our most cherished moments. There were times along the way that some of our companions were less than happy and these tended to be stomach upsets, fear related to the…
