Re: Royal Yacht Britannia
Hi, we were on this trip 2 years ago. The ship was entirely Tauck guests when we went, so a very large group. there were 2 banquet rooms used for the dinner seating. I can't remember if either was used regularly by the royals, but I think probably not on a daily basis.
During the reception, before dinner, we were given free range to roam around and explore the yacht with some areas not accessible.
My husband and I didn't get to many photos, but here they are for reference.

Re: Just Returned
We leave for this tour next week! I'm so excited to see all these great reviews. My mom is older and I'm just hoping that the "hikes" to some of these places aren't too long.
Re: Thoughts after just returning - 8-20 June 2024
Mindy 1 bag and a carry on, you don't need a lot of clothes like British said and the laundry is cheap and I think you can get away with a 20, safer with 26 but don't take a 28.
Re: We leave for our POI trip in two days :) Laundry and tour guide questions
If you haven't seen our blog of the trip, go to https://www.mikeandjudytravel.com/2024-3India-01.htm
It will give you a fair idea of what you will do and see.
Re: We leave for our POI trip in two days :) Laundry and tour guide questions
We were on POI a few months ago. Many of the hotels are for multiple nights and the turnaround service was terrific. The tour sites and hotels are phenomenal.

If you have access, post some comments and maybe a few pictures each day. Have a good trip!
Re: Kingdoms & Dragons: Singapore to Bali Review - Part 3 Sights and Activities
One place you might like to visit is a temple that has a sort of arch with water behind it where if you go at dawn it makes amazing photos. A couple got up early the day after the tour and went. It’s quite a distance if I recall and I’ve no idea what it is called but I’m sure you can ask when you get there.

Re: Ireland Ashford Castle
We had something like Afternoon Tea at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi. It was good for a snack.

Re: Welcome to Tauck's La Belle Vie: The Rhône, Geneva & the Riviera Forum
The new itinerary for the 2026 version of the trip starts in Marseille rather than in Nice. We are booked for April 2026. The map is wrong, but the tour day-by-day info should be updated on the website.
Re: Welcome to Tauck's La Belle Vie: The Rhône, Geneva & the Riviera Forum
It seems the start city depends on the year of travel. Either that or Tauck is in the process of doing some updates. Sorry, edgee, if I gave you misinformation. The best thing to do is to confirm with Tauck directly. Warm regards.
