Hello! My husband and I are going on this trip in September. I am not a great flier, so I am curious about the internal flights in Africa--plane size, etc. Also was the cable car going up Tabletop scary? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
When we took this tour last August, the internal flights were commercial flights on an airline called Airlink. You can check out their website. They fly all over Southern Africa. There are flight attendants. The planes we flew on were Embraer 190s. They are bigger than the United Express planes we fly to and from Denver. There are several pilots who regularly contribute here who may be able to provide you more information as well.
As far as the cable car goes, it moves slowly and smoothly. If you move towards the middle of the circular car, you wouldn’t have to look out on the way up or down if heights are your concern. It does rotate slowly as it moves. It is big too, forty person capacity or more. The view from the top is beautiful. You may have also seen in the threads that the cable car running is very weather dependent. I’m not sure if you’ll be able to see much on the photo or not, but you can see the two cars passing each other about half way up.
Here is a panoramic shot from the top. You can see the car again off on the left side. I hope that helps.

Neither scare me it’s a personal feeling. I can’t put myself in your head.
