    British - Perhaps that's because you requested the Super, Extra Senior discount for yours but paid normally for your husbands!!! 😂 Or perhaps the passport agency has a bias against swimsuit models. 😂

    I applied on Mar 2. Got my first and only email update on Mar 6 that it was in process.

    This may have already been said in this thread - but if not...

    Get the big passport. It doesn't cost extra. If you get the small one and don't have enough blank pages for your next trip, you'll have to renew early. Some trips require that you have six blank visa stamp pages.

    As far as I recall, there is only one passport size now.

    @British - Research on the web indicates two passport book sizes. The small one is 32 pages and the big one is 52 pages. It's possible that the change you refer to is very recent and the web data hasn't caught up yet. Do you have a link that shows there's only one size book now?

    You have a choice on the passport renewal site for either the standard size or the large size. It is well marked.

    Unlike the early (beta?) versions of online renewal which evidently required completing a passport renewal application form (DS-82), now you just enter the data on the webpage. I don't remember seeing any option for a large book- choices shown were "Passport Book, Passport Card, or Both Documents". There are 19 blank visa pages in the standard passport book

    Don't forget to update the TSA Trusted Traveler Program (Global Entry/TSA Pre-Check), your airline, and Tauck with your new passport data.

    One more data point - Did an online renewal on Mar 3, and received passport today, Mar 24, regualr service. The passport is much stiffer, with the info page laminated in plastic.

    After renewal, don't forget to update passport info with Tauck, the airline web sites, Global Entry, etc.
