Re: Hidden Greece Land Tour - itinerary, hotels, & prices posted
Turkish Air is wonderful! We have traveled Business with them three different times. The new Istanbul airport is beautiful as well.
Re: Paris, Dordogne & Bordeaux
Hope to see more reviews of this tour (original subject). We are signed on for 2026. Been to Paris many, many times. It never gets old. Likewise the Dordogne (once) although it rained continuously so hoping for better. We love wine and Bordeaux will be a first for us. And Biarritz looks like a great place to spend an extra day or two!
Re: Just returned from Tuscany & Umbria
We just returned from a fabulous A Week in Tuscany/Umbria combined with A Week in Puglia. I had two Gift of Times because of the two trips which I attached in the middle of each trip. We took the train from one destination to the other and met up with Tauck’s transportation representatives at train stations. Traveling light is important doing it this way. My husband and I were on our own traveling for 2 weeks before the first Tauck tour began and found local laundromats.
I recommend both trips. We had two terrific tour directors each time and I met lovely Tauck travelers on each Tauck trip. Mt husband and I did spend an extra night in Ostuni (the white city).
Re: Green book and insider tips
Have a great time. You will be well taken care of and you are going to meet incredible and interesting people along the way. Remember that sometimes the best memories come from unscripted, unexpected and spur of the moment experiences. Ciao.

Re: Anything new, different or recommended on Singapore/Bali tour in 2025
When we took the tour the tour director reserved a table for lunch for the two of us on the roof of the Marina Bay Sands hotel near the infinity edge pool. The food was delicious and the views stunning. This was after the tour of the Gardens by the Bay

Re: Anything new, different or recommended on Singapore/Bali tour in 2025
For us the only opportunity to eat while not on the tour was in Singapore. We had identified several candidate restaurants, some in the Raffles City complex just across the street from the Raffles Hotel, others in the Marina Bay Sands shopping complex, others at other locations around the marina, and a few others short walks from the hotel.
In the end we ate in the Marina Bay Sands shopping complex (there are several places to choose from) after our visit to Gardens By the Bay, but prior to our visit to the Marina Bay Sands Sky Park observation deck. The Sky Park visit was arranged for a timed entry prior to our arrival in Singapore.
There were other opportunities (for dinners) to eat at places not of the tour (we arrived a day early), but the humidity was such that we chose to each at various restaurants within the Raffles Hotel complex to avoid venturing out into the humidity after a days activities in the humidity.
Throughout the rest of the tour we ate only at tour hotels or provided meals at other restaurants.
Re: Did anyone feel rushed with a week in Spain?
I know this is an old thread, but I'd love to read a current review of A WEEK IN SPAIN --- JaimeM16, can you please post a review or maybe I'll send you a PM . . . we are considering this trip but have read very mixed reviews in the past.
Three full free days?
Going in June 2025 on 1st Tauck trip. Just logged-in and noticed note stating: "On Day 5, the photography workshop is no longer available. We will enjoy free time at Chateau Lake Louise instead." Does that mean that Day 5 is now an entire "free day" at Lake Louise, which was originally listed as a free afternoon in the Itinerary i.e., we would then have three full free days (notwithstanding any other changes required next year because of Jasper fires)?
