The itinerary is similar to the tour I did about 7 years, though in the other direction. The bus ride between Stockholm and Copenhagen is painfully long, including the stop in Toftaholm. While Toftaholm is a pretty setting, out in the country near a lake, there's nothing there and the hotel is very mediocre. In my end of tour review, I wrote, "The Toftaholm hotel was the type of place I stayed in while backpacking across Europe as a student."

I've done about 15 tours with Tauck and this is the only one I would not recommend, as you pay Tauck prices, but don't get Tauck amenities. I also wrote in my review, "It's a good thing this wasn't my first Tauck tour because it would have been my last." All that said, I very much enjoyed what we did see on the tour, except the long bus rides involving Toftaholm.
