Cat 3 loft cabins
I have just booked a loft cabin for the Rhine enchantment cruise next year. I am surprised to see that these cabins don’t sell out quicker.
Is there something I am missing or cons I should be aware of? I would like to hear feedback from anyone who has stayed in these cabins. Thank you

I have not stayed in one but have seen the room. I would not recommend them if you have mobility concerns and/or use a cane. Merely my opinion.
Have stayed in loft cabins twice Have booked another.for next year. That is all I will say. Enjoy.
Perhaps it’s the tour, not the cabin that keeps it from selling out quicker. There are lots of tour choices for that area.
We love this cabin! We have booked that cabin 3 times and for our upcoming Christmas market cruise. Enjoy!
That’s the only Tauck River cruise we have taken. We really enjoyed the cruise, can’t recall what type of cabin. Definitely get to Madrid early and stay longer in Amsterdam.

Some people don't like the cabins in the lower deck because they are below the waterline. I have family that had that cabin on their first cruise and still rave about how much they loved it. Based on square footage it's a great value for dollar spent.

Claudia is right, I've never stayed in one but is definitely a great value for the money spent. I don't feel comfortable below on the ship other wise traveling solo it would really be great for me.
Floor to ceiling windows in the loft area make it feel so open!

The best bang for your buck. It's all we book. Large floor to ceiling window so you have great views. If you have mobility issues, it's NOT a problem - you don't even have to go up the steps to the loft w/the table and chairs if you don't want. So much storage in these cabins, huge bath w/large shower. We book VERY early to be sure we can always get a LOFT cabin as there are only 4 per ship.

I agree! We have stayed in the loft cabins and liked them a lot! It saves a lot of $ and the cabin is unique! Plenty of storage and a separate sitting area with the big window. Good choice!
