July 13, 2014 cruise from Hungary to Germany

Checking in to see if there is anyone on the blog going on the July 13, 2014 cruise. My husband and I are going with our 10 (turning 11 during the cruise) yr old. We are traveling with 3 other families with children ranging from 10 yrs to 18 yrs.


We are going early to visit Prague and Budapest. Any hotel suggestions in these two cities?

    We did this trip in the other direction years ago. Tauck had us at the Marriott in Prague. It was a fantastic hotel in a great location. I think we stayed at the Intercontinental in Budapest.

    When we took the Warsaw to Prague land tour with Tauck several years ago, we stayed at the Marriott in Budapest. I'm pretty sure that all the rooms face the Danube. The view was so magnificent that we didn't even close the draperies at night because we didn't want to miss the view if we had to get up during the night.
