Re: Did anyone feel rushed with a week in Spain?
I know this is an old thread, but I'd love to read a current review of A WEEK IN SPAIN --- JaimeM16, can you please post a review or maybe I'll send you a PM . . . we are considering this trip but have read very mixed reviews in the past.
Three full free days?
Going in June 2025 on 1st Tauck trip. Just logged-in and noticed note stating: "On Day 5, the photography workshop is no longer available. We will enjoy free time at Chateau Lake Louise instead." Does that mean that Day 5 is now an entire "free day" at Lake Louise, which was originally listed as a free afternoon in the Itinerary i.e., we would then have three full free days (notwithstanding any other changes required next year because of Jasper fires)?
Re: Food in Indonesia
It's always good to pack pepto bismol, imodium and (as a last reserve) - antibiotic for emergencies on every trip to distant lands. No matter how careful you are with water etc, it is good to have the above mentioned 'friends' to rely upon.

kfnknfzk - I can't tell you how much I appreciate the restaurant recommendations! I will definitely write those down. ![]()

kfnknfzk - thank you for your response. Great to hear you loved the food in Spain. Tapas, stews and paella sound very appealing.
Norwegian Fiords
Does the ship use zodiacs or tenders to disembark at various ports, or does it pull up to a dock?
Re: Port house tour and tasting in Portugal
We just returned from this tour and had a port tasting at Cockburn’s as part of the tour.

Port house tour and tasting in Portugal
Going on A Week in Portugal Tour very soon and I was wondering which Port Houses does Tauck go to on this tour. We will be in Porto several days before our tour starts and I don’t want to independently go to a port house that Tauck will be taking us to.
Re: New Ships for the Seine and Rhône Rivers
I'm curious how the new design will change the onboard experience. Arthur's being adjacent to the lounge may encourage more people to dine there for lunch and dinner. I did notice in relooking at the pictures that the new wellness center will still have coffee and juice available and some comfy seating. I mostly use it on morning my spouse is still sleeping in so I'll probably still do so. For those of us who do use the gym, it'll be nice not to be down in a black hole. I have found on longer cruises that what's on board matters more than the short ones where you're so busy there isn't time to use them.
Re: Food in Indonesia
Tauck only takes you to places where eating any food is safe plus apart from one hotel where you stay one night, they are all luxurious. We ate food that was not cooked. Tauck don’t want a group of people with food poisoning to deal with or they would not return.
