Re: South Africa packing panic
Go to Marble in time for for the sunset. It is a great restaurant in Joberg and not to be missed. Lots of security in the area.
Re: Required travel documents as per " Your Tauck Personal Travel Documents"
It is very clear to me and less hassle because you can get it on arrival. We were in Zimbabwe in November, had to fill in a form and paid cash. It took time but it’s Africa, so expected.

Re: Wind turbines
Carl Sagan popularized the aphorism, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence".
I’d have to see some extraordinary evidence about the health dangers of wind turbines before I’d accept such health claims
Re: Wind turbines
We did this tour in 2018 - https://www.mikeandjudytravel.com/2018Ireland-01.htm - I don't remember any wind turbines but I wasn't looking specifically for them.
Why do you not travel anywhere near wind turbines? Is it the sound of the blades?
Re: 2024 Wildfires
Some of you should look at the restaurant for fine dining at the Post Inn not far from Lake Louise.
Re: Wind turbines
Just google "wind turbine conspiracy theories" and you'll see what's up.
I wonder if the OP hasn't responded yet because he's now on his around the world cruise sponsored by the flat earth society?
Re: Canadian Rockies & Glacier Nat Pk July 2 2016
We took this trip 5 years ago, our first Tauck tour, and we loved it. Compared to other tours, this one is scenery intensive---no castles and cathedrals---instead you see Mother Nature's awesome beauty and majesty. This trip is the most casual one we have done besides Alaska. You need to look nice, but really dressy is not necessary, and you need to be warm. Glaciers are really cold!!! Enjoy your trip!!
Re: Part 2 of my report…much delayed
Wow Sandy, you can see that? He is very bright, loves to read and can tell you absolutely everything about all those African animals. He is like his granddad.

Re: Elegant Safari
This is a great tour. I took some “city clothes” aka black with scarves for Capetown and Joberg. The rest of the time we all wore our safari clothes to dinner as there was not time to change between game drives and the evening meal. I strongly recommend going to Capetown a day early so you can visit Robben Island. Safari Njema. .
