Does anyone have feedback on the new A Week In... Mexico City and Oaxaca trip?

Years ago we did independent travel to many of Mexico’s colonial cities. The country is very diverse with remarkable history, art, architecture and cuisine. I would not hesitate to go. I think I saw a review here on the forum. Use the search bar to verify.

Update - My cursory search did not find a review. The trip is new for this year.

  • We just went on the Tauck tour....Mexico City and Oaxaca. We thought it was GREAT! We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe even when we were on our own a few afternoons or dinners. We loved everything we saw. Old and new. Especially loved the ruins at Teotihacan and the walk in Oaxaca. There were a few issues with the food in that normally when Tauck takes you to a restaurant for dinner, you get to chose from the whole menu but on this trip that was not the case, you got to chose from a 3 course set menu with only 3 choices in each category. The tour is nw so hopefully that will change

  • Dinner menus vary on Tauck trips. I've been on some where you have a limited set menu as you describe and some where you can order off the entire menu. I doubt it's Tauck's doing, but the restaurant/hotel that decides.
