Hidden Greece Flight to Crete

For anyone that has taken this tour: what type of airplane is utilized for the flight to Crete. Is it a full sized plane with a restroom or more of a smaller aircraft?

Comments

  • It's a brand new tour - starts in 2026.

  • In looking at a random date in June 2026 there are 12 non-stop flights between Athens and Crete. On that random date 11 are on A320/321 aircraft and one on a ATR turbo prop. All 12 have toilets. 10 of the flights are on Aegean Airlines (all A320/321 aircraft) and 2 (one ATR, one A320) are on Sky Express.

Based on my Tauck experience traveling in Southeast Asia, if I had to guess, they will use Aegean Airlines. You can call Tauck and they might know which specific flight they plan to use, but plans always change. In either case, flight time is scheduled to be about an hour gate-to-gate. I'll be on this tour in 2027 and looking forward to it.
