Any newer reviews? 2025?
All of these reviews were so old. I wish Tauck would clear out anything over 5 years. The tours change and I don't trust that the opinions are still true. Has any one gone on this tour this past fall, 2025? Please share your experiences with anything you think I need to know. Clothing choices, restaurant choices, when given one, etc. We're signed up to go this year, 2026. Any restaurants near InterContinental Boston hotel for the night before the tour starts?

I can’t give you a current review but I can say that we enjoyed this tour so much that we took it again a decade later. I hope this helps somewhat.
We've never been on this tour but live in the Boston area and worked in Boston for years.
There's a Legal Seafoods in the Seaport district (really good lobster rolls) and you are within walking distance of the North End which is the Italian neighborhood. You are also close to Chinatown.
Sometime on this trip you should have New England clam chowder. Legal's is good.

Regarding restaurants in Boston … North End - all 60 restaurants (about ) are Great . Go to Hanover st. , stroll around and pick any place . Cannot go wrong . If you have time go on a DUCK Boat Tour . A lot of fun , you will be in city streets and then in the River Charles .
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a must see.
