    I looked at it but chose Yellowstone in Winter over it. I thought the Yellowstone in Winter gave more of a view of the park. And I chose winter because summer is just too crowded.

    We went to Yellowstone in Winter and we loved it and it so happened during a government shutdown which was actually wonderful. It was quiet; it was majestic and breathtaking; barely any crowds. Yes, it was cold and you need to be prepared for that kind of cold. Yellowstone is beautiful in winter. I like winter more than extreme heat.

    Yellowstone in Winter is magical, so magical in fact it is a totally different place than in summer. Some may not recognize it or many parts of it. Make no mistake, you must dress appropriately!
