in Musical Magic Along the Blue Danube
We were on the 21 July - 1 August "Musical Magic" trip and found it to be a "feast" of Central European music, particularly Mozart and the Strauss dynasty.
There were also opportunities for general touring but at least one, usually more, musical venue per day. From small ensembles, usually two violins, a cello and a base, to full orchestras we heard great music by very talented musicians.

    One of the amusing events of the trip was in Regensburg, the only day we didn't have a scheduled concert. During our walking tour we came across Bavarian Oompah band playing music as a bride and groom came out of their wedding into the square.

    So even when there was no planned concert, we had music!
