When I did this tour in 2012, dinner did start at about 7 and lasted about two hours. It is a French ship so you have European fine dining. If you choose to eat faster, you can complete dinner sooner. I ate one evening in the buffet and the food choices were slightly different. I preferred to eat in the main dining room where I was served and didn't have to get up and wait in a line to get my own food. This is a small ship so evening activities are limited and do not begin until about 10.
I thought this was a great tour. In fact is one of the top five Tauck tours of the 26 that I have done or about to take.
