    We are also going on Sept. 22 and have been in New England at that time before. The weather on Mt Washington is very cold and it snowed when we were there last. We also got some heavy rain from a hurricane so raincoats and umbrella are probably needed. Most days were sunny and cool.
    Since we are going out on a lobster boat warm clothes would be advised.
