Clothes and gear

Any suggestions on clothes? Australia/NZ Starting Oct 5th. Doing the usual. What about shorts, shoes, dress for evenings, weather, hot/cold clothing, other gear and/or accessories? What clothing is worn more consistently '(most versatile) and how many of each item? Do they dress up in evenings or just casual? What about city wear while touring? Best hats? Thanks. casual clothes and plan on layering. Will want shorts for outback and maybe for stay at Great Barrier Reef. Not sure about Sydney at that time of year, but all the rest will want layer. I did the trip few years ago in November and New Zealand needed layers and wore jeans during the day.

    Great trip enjoy.

My wife and I are planning for a trip. I think booty shorts are the best option while going for a trip. Some casual clothes are sufficient, if needed you can also take some evening wear clothes along with you.
