Hello, we just returned from the Z, B and SA tour a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what you mean by "now that it has not let up at all"?? They are in much better shape than they were several months ago, they have been getting some rain, the dams are starting to fill a bit, and "day zero" has at a minimum been delayed to 2019. With that said, there are signs everywhere about the water shortage, and I assume at the Cape Grace it is similar to the One and Only where we stayed. They request guests to take very short showers, reuse towels, sheets, etc. In almost all public restroom facilities including some restaurants we went to, the faucets were shut off and they had hand sanitizer to clean your hands rather than soap and water. Everyplace had bottled water to drink. It is ABSOLUTELY worth going. We found Cape Town to be a wonderful city and we hope to return.

One of the BEST trips we have been on with Tauck. Water conservation is front and center however it had no significant impact on a great adventure. It was a reminder that we should be more aware of how we use our resources.
