What to wear in Northern Spain

We are doing the Paradors of Northern Spain and Portugal on September 26 for two weeks. Not sure if we should bring summer clothes or fall clothes. Capris vs long pants. I know we should layer. Has anyone done this trip? Any info would be most welcomed. Thank you.

    We did this trip a few years ago at almost the exact time. I brought a pair of shorts, 2 pairs of capris, 4 pairs of pants, a mix of short and long sleeved tees, covered shoes, flats, sandals and some lighter sweaters for daytime wear, and I wore everything. The weather was a mix of warm afternoons and cooler mornings and evenings as well as a few rainy days. I also brought some dressier clothes for evenings . I will give you the usual suggestion to check the extended forecast closer to your departure date, and plan to layer on the cooler days.
