Tanzanian visas
Just wanted to post that it is very easy to get Tanzanian visas on your own. We are on the Bridges December 21 tour to Tanzania and there are 6 of us. Rather than go through Tauck's visa service (or any others for that matter) and pay the $100 per person handling fee, over and above any actual visa fee, we did this on our own. Just printed the form on line, followed instructions and mailed them in. I even had a question before hand about the form and e-mailed the address online and got a polite response the next day.
It is $5.00 extra per person to use a credit card,but no problem. So for $105.00 each we got our visas in 2 weeks! (It is $100.00 for the visa fee and $5.00 for the credit card.) It was very easy to do. Saved $600 by doing it ourselves, so can't complain about that.
