I went last year at this time of year, minimal hiking but the elevation can get a little time to get used to drink lists of water. Some rough terrain to walk to falls and sites but many people were older and seemed to not have any issues
We were there Last Year and even though there is some Walking we did have a few very elderly on our Bus and nobody had a problem!
You just must drink plenty of Water and at the higher elevations your going to feel it! A little!
We live at Sea Level so spending anytime at 6 thousand feet and higher we are going to have
a reaction! Not bad, but at times it was actually pretty funny! Water is the answer!
For those Going to Yellowstone you will see thee most Amazing Sites!
Even on the Rafting Tour Down the Snake River!!
Do what you have to, but Bring Your Camera!
The River is fast but its Not "White Water"! Its very Safe as long as you follow the Rules,
and take the proper precautions for your Equipment!
