South African Airways

Has anyone flown on South African Airways? I am going on the South Africa An Elegant Adventure and am looking to book a flight from JFK to Capetown. They have the most direct and shortest flights but I don't know much about the airline. British Air and KLM also fly from JFK but are significantly longer flights with connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    They share flights with United. I am scheduled on them for the trip you're looking at, but have not flown on them yet.

    They have a very good reputation.
    You can also book SAA through Air Canada.
