Douro cruise weather in May

Can anyone who’s been on a Douro cruise in May discuss the weather? I’ve heard it’s warmer the more inland you go from Porto. We’re going May 19, 2023. Thank you!

    I was on the longer version of the Douro cruise last November but have visited the region many times. Spring and fall are the best times to visit since the weather is milder...not hot, not cold. You may experience a passing rain storm in Porto but nothing to dampen your spirits. We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Enjoy.
