Emergency Contact On Line Form

Below is an e mail I sent to Dan Mahar almost one month ago. I also left him a voice message on his extension at Tauck. Sadly I have not received any response. Perhaps posting it here will result in some kind of a response.

Let me preface this e mail by telling you that my wife and I will be taking our 19th and 20th Tauck Tours during 2017 & 2018. So needless to say we are big fans of Tauck.

However, you knew that was coming, today I called for the 3rd time to state that when I went on line to fill in the emergency contacts for our upcoming trip to Indochina, the information that I have repeatedly entered still was not showing up correctly on line. I was told that your IT personnel have been trying for months to get your internal system to sync up with the on line system that your clients use. Repeatedly I have entered the correct emergency contact information and it never shows up on the on line form that I can see AND ironically the young lady who I spoke with today didn't see the corrections I made on your system either. Needless to say this is an unacceptable situation. It should be most troubling to Tauck that your system did not reflect the changes that I entered twice over the course of a week. Needless to say that a conscientous client, such as me, who checks to be sure that the changes that I inputted took effect also is not able to see the changes because your systems don't sync with each other. Lastly I was told that there was no mention in my record that I had called before.

When I was told that this problem has existed for months and still has not been corrected I decided to alert you to this fact because this kind of a problem is not representative of what I think of when I think of Tauck Tours.
