July 31 tour . Arriving a day early want to maximize that day

We arrive at the hotel around 2pm on the 30th.
we would like to see "town" and not repeat tour with TAUCK CITY TOUR Also looking for a recommendation for lunch at Nygard area and a fine dining restaurant for that evening.
we are coming from Naples FL.
