We are considering this trip with our grandchildren ages 8-13. How much time is spent on the bus and do the kids et bored. Is this trip good for grandparents in their early 70's???

We did this trip in April 2016, and it was fabulous. My recollection is that we were never on the bus for more than 2 hours at a time without a stop or break. The kids all had an amazing time and bonded really well with each other. Our trip had grandparents in their 80's, so you should be fine. The most stressful decision you'll have to make is whether or not to take the mule ride down to the floor of Bryce Canyon with your grandkids; they aren't allowed to go without at least one of you along.
