Tanzania: Serengeti to Zanzibar - July 2017
Leaving in 2 days. Very excited! I have a few quick questions:
1. I am arriving in Arusha a day early -- July 9th. Anyone else coming in that day? Want to plan a tour or something for the 10th before the Tauck guides kick in?
2. Hairdryers: I read on one of these posts that all of our hotels have hairdryers. Being one of those women who is very attached to her hairdryer, I want to confirm that dryers will be available, or should I pack one of my travel ones... just in case?
3. Binoculars: I have two pairs to choose from -- one very lightweight Bushnell 8X23 (weighs about 9 ounces) and one Nikon 10X42, waterproof, really nice but weighs a bit more (about 20 ounces.) Is it worth it to take the slightly larger one or is the 8X23 good enough?
