Hello!

Many of you have mentioned a boat trip in Montreux for the extra day. What is the name of the boat trip and where does it leave from? Do you recommend going back to Geneva for the day or should we skip that? What else does anyone suggest to fill the extra day prior to the trip?

Has anyone tried any restaurants on their own for dinner in Montreux? Many thanks!

Hi Sandy. The boat trip from Montreux is on Lake Geneva. They vary as to the stops they make. If you google Lake Geneva, Switzerland boat trips, you can see there are many to choose from depending on your schedule. You may want to stay on the boat or you may want to get off in a village and wander around. Hope this helps!
