August 8 Russia Trip

My wife and I are going on the Russian Glories and Baltic Treasures trip on August 8, of this year. My question is has anyone heard of any issues or problems traveling to Russia for US citizens this year? I know they started the 2018 trips last month in May.

    I have not heard anything like it. I mean the problem. I will say that not long ago my friend went on a trip across Russia on the train and was completely satisfied with this.
