Echnida Walk-around - Melbourne
For anyone arriving a day early in Melbourne on the Grand Australia/New Zealand tour, I would highly recommend doing the Echnida Koala and Kangaroo tour. It is a preserve so you get to see the animals in their natural habitat. Although it's a bit pricey - half of the cost goes to the conservation efforts - it is well worth it if you are a wildlife lover. It is an all day experience that includes lunch. They pick you up at the hotel and return you in plenty of time for the Welcome Reception. The concierge made the reservations for us the day we arrived.
