Is it REALLY a Customer Service Line?

I had a fairly important and time sensitive question about an upcoming trip.

I called the "customer service line" and was on hold for one hour and 45 minutes before I gave up. I'm getting tired of hearing "Oh, it's because of COVID." No - it's just poor customer service. When wait times get that long, reasonable companies hire more staff, or set up multiple ways of contacting the company.
