clothing for Grand Canadian Rockies

I just got back from this trip. For those of you wondering what clothes to bring -- layers. The first few days in Vancouver and Victoria were quite warm (80-85) shorts and short sleeves. As we progressed on the trip it got colder. Lightweight jacket. For Jasper and Athabasca you will need a warmer jacket (puffy coat), scarf, gloves. Back to warm weather in Calgary. This is NOT a dressy tour. What you wear during the day is fine for evening. Very casual. Men do not need sport coats. All in all, it is a great trip.
