Travelling Tips…

  • Last one....

I use a miniature travel atomizer filled with rose water to spritz on my face while flying to help combat the dry cabin air. I have two; one for the outgoing flight and one for the return flight. So as not to disturb other passengers, I spray into my hands first then pat my face. I arrive at my destination feeling refreshed and with a dewy complexion...sort of.

  • Clothes pins to hold the curtains closed

  • Binder clips work well for keeping curtains closed although I rarely use them for that purpose. I'll be heading over to the Fairmont Plaza Hotel in Manhattan tomorrow (in Brooklyn now on a rainy day) but doubt I will need them there. My husband always takes the tiny clips to keep his place while reading books.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  • kfnknfzk, we think alike...again! I am always with my spray bottle of rosewater mist. I often add antiseptic green tea, etc. A must also in hot weather. I just cup my hands to avoid spraying anyone.

  • Thanks for the tip, MarketArt. I never thought of a green tea infusion. Brilliant!

  • Easy to replenish as you go! Any tea works, plain water in a pinch.

  • Thanks! I love ginger tea, but that might be odd. I'll have to experiment.
