Is there enough time to visit Valparaiso and Vina del Mar during the first day prior to the welcome dinner? We will be arriving the day before but will probably just walk around the city that day and work out the jet lag. Thanks!

Golly Gee, I saw that, but wasn't sure if people visited on the first day of the tour. Most tours say 8 hours and it seems it wouldn't get me back in time for the welcome dinner. Wanted to know if that is the case or not.
Sfkucker, I went there on the day of the Welcome dinner. If you book a tour, just let them know when you need to be back and they can arrange to leave earlier than they normally would.
