For those of you who have been to Morocco, what currency did you use? I have read that the dirham is the official currency (closed, so it can't be purchased outside of Morocco), but that euros are widely accepted.

We got a small amount of local currency, probably at an ATM. Your hotel will also convert some for you. But credit cards are widely accepted so you don't need much. If you're going to use Euros or US dollars, they prefer new bills.
We just returned from Morocco a few weeks ago. You will need very little money and remember once you leave Morocco their money is useless. We went to an ATM in Rabat and it was easy to use just like the US.
I usually tip the coach driver in local currency and if I have any left over, use it to pay (usually part of) my final hotel bill.
