Charter flights luggage requirements

There are very restrictive carry on luggage requirements. We have small carry ons, but we’re wondering if anyone had issues with the 10 lb weight limit per piece?

    Bump, I'm interested in this topic as well. I have extended my stay in Egypt after the tour to do some scuba diving, so I need a bag able to hold both my scuba gear + the essentials for this tour, and I need to be able to have my life support systems -- regulators, dive computers, and cameras -- in my carryon at minimum. Is this just a matter of the charter flights charging extra for overweight or additional bags, or something else?
